I've, I think, achieved planner peace. I kept on trying out different methods (Filofaxes, ugh) and didn't find anything I enjoyed. I think the reason was that I was trying to make it more than what I needed.
A month at a glance is more than enough for me at the moment (I may need a weekly insert for nursing school next year to write more for daily assignments and what's due) but right now this is perfect. What I like most is that the Midori insert (refill 017) isn't numbered and you can start at any month you want! Why can't more planners be like this? Another really great thing about Midori inserts is that the paper quality is nice enough for fountain pens and wetter inks.
I do a bit of color coding, mostly with my classes, and those are written with Staedtler Triplus Fineliner Pens. I can't recommend these pens enough because they have a nice fine point and work well and they aren't very pricy. I only use them for planning purposes so they'll last me a long time.
The cat stickers were from Friday Jeans Day at work. You pay $1 to wear jeans and it benefits the animals who live in the nursing home and their care. We have many cats, bunnies, and dogs that provide therapy for the residents.
How do you plan? What types of products, notebooks, and apps do you use? I hope that by sharing my images it will give you ideas but also I am hoping to gain inspiration from others to make my planning more productive and efficient.
