This is how I plan, ya'll. I am currently using an A5 Filofax Domino with Mead planner inserts that I hole-punched to fit. I use the month at a glances for all major schedulings--work, school, major to-do's.
Beginning January, I'll have weekly inserts to use along with the month at a glance. I think I'll be recording fitness stats on those. Not sure if I'm going to share the weekly pages but I will definitely post these once a month.
