April was kind of a tough month. I've been swamped with school, work, and trying to make positive changes both professionally and personally.
+ My friend Kristyn moved back to Columbus after living in Virginia for a few years! It's good to have her back. We've been friends for 12 years...crazy it's been that long already.
+ I'm back to using my FitBit after not touching it most of the winter. Now that it's warm I'll be more active.
+ The highly anticipated Blue Edition Traveler's Notebook arrived. I actually haven't used it yet because I really enjoy using my brown standard TN for planner purposes. I was thinking about participating in the #ListersGottaList challenge and using it for that. Anyone want to do that this May?
+ Jeni's Ice Cream closed all locations and dumped all pints from every grocery store. Legionella! I've never been a huge fan of Jeni's and never really bought into their local branding bs. Give me Graeter's or Ben & Jerri's over Jeni's any day.
+ Good April TV: Mad Men's final season, The Last Man On Earth (header image above), and Peaky Blinders on Netflix.
+/- Mona got her summer lion cut but since it's been chilly this past week, she's been climbing in bed and waking me up. Don't get me wrong, I love when she cuddles (because it's so rare) but it's so hard for me to sleep when I'm woken up or in an uncomfortable position. She's just so small and has no body fat whatsoever so she gets chilly. Doesn't she look adorable though?
- I was sick for a week. I woke up dizzy every morning and self diagnosed that it was the serous fluid in my left ear. A doctor friend told me to combine sudafed and ibuprofen and it worked. Waking up dizzy is not fun and it's kind of scary, to be honest. I was afraid to shower because I didn't want to fall and hit my head. I also missed two days of work because of it.
