+ I typed up a quick entry on how I make spinach and ricotta stuffed shells. They seriously make the best leftovers.
+ I finished reading The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt. I absolutely loved it!
+ I shared Midori's new 2016 inserts for Traveler's Notebooks. I actually will be using them for journaling rather than planning.
+ Mona got a haircut and she's been super cuddly now that she's bald! It's nice having her crawl into bed every night.
+ The Leftovers season 2 is so good! We are OBSESSED. So obsessed in fact that I went to Half-Price Books just to get the book to compare and contrast.
+ I purchased a small watercolor set and an aquash water brush and have been loving it! I need a lot of practice because I really never learned how to use watercolors. They were never part of an assignment in art school. Be sure to check out my 'Journals' section on my blog in December where I'll share some of my paintings.
+ I have most of my Christmas shopping done because lets face it, I only really have to buy gifts for Ryan. I did sign up for a Secret Santa exchange at work and I have that gift on the way. I also signed up for Reddit's Secret Santa exchange and I have to send that out soon. I've been doing Reddit's exchanges for 3 years now.
+ No snow yet!
+ We went to IKEA and got a few things including a new duvet and duvet cover.
+/- I'm almost done with all the vaccinations I need for nursing school. I recently got my flu shot and what do you know, I get a bad cold afterwards. I had a sort throat for a week before it finally went away two days ago. I know it has nothing to do with the shot but it seems to always happen after a vaccination.
+/- I worked on Thanksgiving and it was a very slow night. Granted I did make double, it was still slow!
- My childhood dog, Tony, passed away at the age of 17. My sister was taking care of him.
December is going to be very busy because I have to upload forms for nursing school, get a physical, go to two orientations, fix up Ryan's old car so I have a car again, work full-time, get a haircut, get the third and final Hep B shot, and somehow enjoy a few days off before January. I'm scheduled to work on Christmas but there's a chance we wont have patients on our floor and I'll get called off. Then again, I thought that'd be the case on Thanksgiving and it wasn't. No complaints, though! Fingers crossed I get everything done.
