"I wish it were fin du globe," said Dorian with a sigh. "Life is a great disappointment."

Spring Things

Angie P

I wrote about how my sunroom was a little haven for my cats, but it's also where I tend to my growing collection of plants. I actually had to come up with a new way to keep these plants because Dorian likes to nibble on them. So, we went to Home Depot and got this shelving and it turned out to be nicer looking than I thought. It's minimal, away from the cat's reach and gets a ton of sun because to the right is all windows.

It's hard to tell but there's a Kid Robot balloon dog in there also.

We then went to Oakland Nursery--my favorite place to buy plants. I bought a few more succulents and put together a large terrarium (above). It came out pretty great, if I do say so myself. We also purchased some catnip seeds and green onion seeds. Our cats (Dorian especially) loves catnip so we figure he'll love fresh catnip even more.

Along with planting and re-potting this weekend, I also re-arranged the dining room a bit and we donated a bunch of stuff. Oh and we grilled hotdogs, too. This is the stuff Spring is made of.
