Three out of four seasons of the year, Ryan and I take an evening walk around the neighborhood and to the Topiary Park. This winter felt like it lasted forever and I was pining for a good walk outside. In the Spring it's extra fun because we can observe how the plants and trees are growing back. I'm that person who enjoys watching bees go inside flowers and come out covered in pollen. Bumblebees are the best, seriously, because of how plump their little bodies are.
What's even more exciting is that there's a large group of Mallard ducks that have babies in the pond every year. I documented them last year around May 15th but I have an 85mm lens now (the photo last year was taken with a 17-40mm) so hopefully I'll get even better photos this time around. And yeah, I have the last year's day documented so I can take another one around the same time.
So, I hope you aren't sick of Topiary Park photos because they will probably be popping up on this blog all summer. But first, I must document all the flowers.
