+ We had a little taste of spring and it was nice! Though, it it will be cold again next weekend so winter doesn't seem to want to end just yet.
+ Every Sunday we've been watching Cosmos and it's just so great. I'm a fan of the original but with the new graphics and Neil deGrasse Tyson...ah, it's perfection.
+ I did my yearly pre-order of a bunch of books that are coming out in the upcoming months. Two are Stephen King, Revival and Mr. Mercedes. I also ordered Rogues which is full of stories from authors like Gillian Flynn and Patrick Rothfuss (!!!) and lastly, I ordered Dirty Daddy by Bob Saget because I love Bob Saget.
+ I finished reading The Man Who Mistook His Wife For A Hat by Oliver Sacks and I did a little review on my book review portion of this blog. I cannot recommend this book enough.
+ I am finally getting around to reading Dune by Frank Herbert but it will take a while to finish with everything else I have going on. I am enjoying it though!
+ We got a Nutribullet at Costco and have been making breakfast shakes and green shakes and really, all the shakes we possibly can. I'll be sharing recipes later next month. It's been fun and I am feeling...healthier? Not enough time has passed but I do feel good.
- I don't know if I should count this as a negative but the last bit of this semester is a lot to handle. My microbiology course is throwing all the assignments at me. I'm working on identifying two unknown organisms and have been sharing my results on Instagram. Streak plates, microscope images--stuff like that. I hope I am able to identify them...I'll write up a blog post about this at a later time. I also have a group presentation I have to work on because it's due at the end of April. And finally, studying for the final exam.
- I scheduled for my summer semester and while I'm only taking one class, it's somehow still three days a week. That's lab and lecture classes for you.
- I'm pretty sure I grew a few gray hairs just this month alone and I have no doubt April will do the same to me.
