"I wish it were fin du globe," said Dorian with a sigh. "Life is a great disappointment."

Terrarium Fun : Pt. 2

Angie P

This will probably be an ongoing thing here on my blog because I am slowly filling my living space with plants and terrariums. I am a big believer in making home decor yourself. Not all of it, but if you can make it yourself--do it! I could go out and buy pre-made terrariums but there's no fun or satisfaction in that.

Here's what I recently made and all you need is sand, rocks, decorative mosses, dried flowers, and a unique jar/glass. I've been on the hunt for a skull decanter for a while and finally scored one for under $10. To get into the jar I used a straw--very high tech, I know.

The plants behind the skull are fake! They are from IKEA. Having a cat who enjoys nibbling on my real plants, these are a nice alternative so I can display some greenery on table tops. I really hope Dorian grows out of it because I was spoiled for a long time having Mona not care about any type of plant.
