Fallingwater has been on my radar for years and years and I finally was able to see it. The leaves in this part of Pennsylvania were the brightest I saw over the weekend. Despite the rain and gray skies, I am glad to have a few photos. If anything, it challenges me to get back out there and retake a better picture.
I highly recommend making the trip to see this, if you can. We didn't have tickets to go inside (we plan on going back in the spring) but $8 gets you access to the grounds. The reason why we didn't have tickets to go inside is that they sold out for the day. Be sure to book them in advance. But, with the $8 grounds pass you can walk around the house and get really close. I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes because it is in the woods and there are hills and steps.
It really was a beautiful home and the surrounding woods were so serene. Can I live there?
