Nail polish.

Angie P

I'm not a huge makeup person (I only wear eye shadow on a occasion and it's the Naked palette by Urban Decay) but I do like nail polish. So, this post is to show my collection because as of right now, it's perfect and covers all hues. It's taken years to build it up and I really don't have the desire or need to buy any more--unless it's to replace an empty bottle, which hasn't happened yet.

This rack can be purchased on Amazon. It's hanging in my office and is simple and nice to look at. It can hold close to 100 bottles depending on what brands you fill it up with since each brand has a different sized bottle. As you can see, I'm a fan of China Glaze, OPI, Zoya, Essie, Deborah Lippmann and a few drug-store brands like Revlon and Sally Hansen.

In the past, I usually bought a bottle here and there but I did purchase a whole collection called On Safari by China Glaze. I loved all the colors and got them for a deal online. They're some of my favorites and go on the nail easily and almost completely opaque in one coat.

Other notable favorites are:

Deborah Lippmann: "Mermaid's Dream" and "Superstar"

Revlon: "Spanish Moss" and "Timeless"

Zoya: "Godiva", "Dahlia" and "London"--all from their Pixie Dust textured collection and pictured above. I also love their polish in "Storm" because it looks like the night sky.

OPI: "Did You 'ear About Van Gogh?", "Warm & Fozzie" and "Gone Gonzo!"--both from their Muppets collection.

Essie: "Turquoise & Caicos", "Chinchilly" and "Mink Muffs" are all unique colors.

American Apparel: "Factory Grey", "Peacock" and "Pinto". American Apparel polishes are actually really great and I love their rectangle bottles.

I'm a no-frills type of person but nail color is something I can get creative with and it's something that is never IN YOUR FACE--which is what I like.
